Non-Verbal Communication of Attraction
Body language is vital component in knowing whether someone
is interested in you or not. If we talk about love, dating and romance, body
language plays a big part in it. Here
are some tips to know who is interested in you:
1. Lean In: This
is the simplest way to show someone that you are interested in them especially
when you are sitting in a group. If you lean towards them it will draw their
attention towards you automatically. If you are sitting in a group and someone
is leaning towards you and talking more to you than any when else it shows
their interest in you.
2. Head Tilting: Head
tilting shows interest in the person talking to you. Tilting your head and
gazing shows that you are listening to them actively. Do not look around the
room or here and there if sitting in a restaurant, it shows lack of interest. (Edwards, 2013)
3. Blushing: When
we are attracted towards someone, our blood flows to our face causing our
cheeks to be red on seeing them. Women
blusher on cheeks to look more attractive. Same is the case of lips and eyes.
The more lips are red and eyes are white, more attractive one looks.
4. Moist Palm: A
palm which is damp and moist shows that an attraction is there. A sweaty palm
is response to romantic feelings. To see your date is really interested in you
look for other romantic signals too, as sometimes moist palm may be result of
the issues with sweat glands of the person. (Fratello)
5. Heartbeats: our
heartbeat rate increases, when we are near to person whom we like or are
interested in. it happens in both ways. When our heart is running we find
people more attractive than usual. It is not possible to check someone pulse.
But to know whether some is attracted or not, we can check their breathing rate
or heat from their palm, if you are holding their hand.
6. Feet Signs: if the feet of the other person are pointed
towards you, it shows that they are interested. If the feet are away, pointing
towards other direction, then there is no attraction.
7. Position of Arms: The crossed of the person shows that they are not interested and do not
want to be approached. On the other hand, uncrossed arms shows availability and
that they are approachable. Never ask a women with crossed arm for a date.
